Scientists link proximity of green spaces to home with a 20% lower dementia risk
A study by Stockholm University and the Karolinska Institute found that having greenery near one's home is associated with a 20% lower risk of dementia. Nearly 3,000 people took part in the study, which followed them for 16 years. The greatest effect was observed for greenery within 100 metres of housing.
