Turkey and China to hold green development forum in Istanbul amid growing trade turnover
On November 9, Istanbul will host a Turkish-Chinese business forum on green development — during the visit of Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and against the backdrop of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The forum coincides with the start of COP31 in Antalya. Bilateral trade turnover has exceeded $52 billion, and Chinese tourist arrivals in Turkey set a record in 2026 after the introduction of a visa-free regime.
