Russian woman swallows 930 live beetles while trying to treat arthrosis
According to SHOT, Russians have begun eating live healer beetles hoping to cure arthrosis and gout. One woman with diagnosed coxarthrosis swallowed 930 insects over two months without giving up the medications prescribed by her doctor. Doctors warn that there is no scientific evidence of the method's effectiveness and that there is a risk of allergic reactions.
