Hegseth Staff Damaged Historic Eisenhower Globe While Moving It at the Pentagon — The Washington Post
According to The Washington Post, while attempting to move one of the two historic 'Eisenhower globes' into Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth's office on February 3, the artifact fell and was damaged near Antarctica. The Army confirmed the incident; history specialists were on unpaid leave due to the shutdown. The Pentagon called what happened an 'accident' and, per AFP, called the item a 'replica.'
