Global Network to Support Children with Severe Illnesses Established in Samarkand, Headed by Ziroat Mirziyoyeva
During the World Summit 'Investments in Children's Wellbeing' and the II International Congress on Childhood Cancer in Samarkand, the creation of a Global Network uniting first ladies and spouses of heads of state to support children with severe and life-threatening illnesses was announced. First Lady of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva was elected chairperson of the network for a two-year term.
