Geekend in Doha: a festival of gamers, cosplayers and artists with a focus on art
The Geekend festival, organised by the Doha Film Institute, brought together gamers, cosplayers, artists and pop-culture fans. This edition places a stronger emphasis on art: artists present and sell their works, board games are on display, including a modern version of the traditional Dama, and at the Japanese embassy's booth visitors learn about Japanese culture.
