Uzbekneftegaz: new wells not yet offsetting the decline in gas production
Uzbekneftegaz's chief geologist said that reserves at large fields are more than 80% depleted, and the company's production could fall by 9.5% in 2026 — to 22.8 billion cubic meters. This is noticeably below the president's January target and continues the country's multi-year downward production trend.
