In Florence, 94-year-old Franca may lose the apartment she has lived in since the early 1960s: the owner refused to renew the contract on the previous terms and is demanding €1,200 a month instead of €450. Her daughter turned to the tenants' union Sunia. The case coincided with a rise in evictions in Tuscany.
