Flash floods in the southwestern US: one dead, hundreds evacuated
After several days of heavy rain, the Four Corners region in the southwestern United States was flooded on November 2, 2026: in Colorado and Arizona, homes and cars were swept away, hundreds of people were evacuated, and rescuers carried out dozens of operations, including helicopter missions. At least one death has been confirmed, and police are investigating whether a second death is linked to the flooding.
