The strongest M3.6-class flare in a month occurred on the Sun
The Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of IKI RAN reported an M3.6 flare — the most powerful since October 10. The flare region is relatively close to the direction of Earth, but no negative consequences have been recorded so far.
