South Korea's financial sector under hacker attack again: Daishin, Mirae Asset and Bithumb
A month after the September series of cyberattacks on South Korean financial institutions, a new wave of incidents has been recorded: broker Daishin Securities leaked the data of 38,490 clients, while Mirae Asset Global Investments and the exchange Bithumb reported their own incidents. The regulator urged stronger cybersecurity and plans to inspect dozens of IT systems.
