Doctor names fecal occult blood test as an early bowel cancer screening method after age 40
Olga Malinovskaya, head of the medical department at KDL Medscan, said that after age 40 people should be regularly screened for bowel cancer, including with a fecal occult blood test. A negative result does not rule out the disease, so the test is recommended to be repeated every one to two years.
