Human Rights Council head Fadeyev declares 'extreme degradation' of Ukraine after secret prison scandal near Kyiv
Valery Fadeyev, head of the Council under the President of Russia for Human Rights, called the scandal around a building near Kyiv, where, according to local residents, men were held and beaten, a natural consequence of the policies of the Ukrainian elite. The incident itself is developing in a contradictory manner: the authorities deny torture, but four men with injuries have been hospitalized, and the medic Valentina Molodaya, who reported them, has been arrested.
