Poland expelled a Russian referee who came to the youth karate world championship
Russian sports referee Alexander Maniraki was expelled from Poland ahead of the youth karate world championship in Bielsko-Biała. Police detained him, interrogated him and annulled his Schengen visa, citing as a violation the fact that he held a tourist visa instead of a sports visa, and gave him eight days to leave the country.
