Belfast begins using the Da Vinci robot for complex gynaecological operations
Belfast City Hospital operates the first Da Vinci robot for gynaecology on the island of Ireland, costing £2.4 million. 130 operations have been performed in four months. A further £1.95 million investment in endometriosis treatment services is also expected.
