Tourist flow in Greece in August 2026 grew by 2.6% — mainly driven by foreigners
According to preliminary data from the Greek statistical agency ELSTAT, in August 2026 the number of arrivals in hotels, campsites and rented rooms reached 7,429,931 (+2.6%), and overnight stays — 34,685,695 (+2.1%). Foreigners accounted for 76.7% of arrivals and 84% of overnight stays, while short-term rental accommodation grew faster than hotels and campsites.
