Protest camp against housing crisis in Madrid has existed for a month
A tent camp on Madrid's Puerta del Sol square, which emerged on 26 September after the eviction of an 87-year-old pensioner, marks one month and has become the center of protests against rising housing prices. Sánchez's government failed to pass two urgent housing laws through parliament, leading to the scheduling of early elections for 29 November.
