China opens corruption cases against 73 high-level officials in the first nine months of 2026
According to the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, between January and September 2026 cases were opened against 73 officials of provincial and ministerial level. More than 3.5 million reports were received, checks were carried out in almost 800,000 cases, and 680,000 people were subjected to disciplinary penalties.
