Hotel fire on the trail to Everest Base Camp ends without casualties
At the Good Luck hotel in the village of Dingboche along the popular trekking route to Everest Base Camp, a fire broke out. All guests and staff were evacuated, with no injuries. Police suspect the fire was caused by an explosion of a gas cylinder in the kitchen, while heavy snowfall complicated firefighting and prevented the use of helicopters.
