A date in Europe costs on average €270: the most expensive and cheapest cities
The Deutsche Bank Research Institute report 'Mapping the World's Prices 2026' compared the cost of a typical date set in 69 cities worldwide. Dates are most expensive in Geneva and Zurich, and cheapest in Istanbul. Factoring in salaries flips the ranking: in Athens a date takes almost a fifth of the monthly net salary.
