DoorDash has agreed to acquire competitor Instacart for $17 billion — $65 per share, a 26% premium to the price before reports of the talks emerged. The deal, the largest in DoorDash's history, will combine the leading food delivery service with the largest grocery delivery player; closing is expected by the end of 2027 or in the first half of 2028.
Aziz KarimovUzbekistan's Committee for the Development of Competition issued preliminary consent for VEON UZB Holding Ltd to acquire 100% of Rubicon Wireless Communication shares (the Perfectum brand). The deal was announced on October 19 at approximately $207 million, including about $93 million of debt. Conditions include maintaining Perfectum's independence for at least 3 years, freezing 5G FWA tariffs for 12 months, and protecting subscriber data.
