Tajikistan's Interior Ministry to register fortune tellers, their clients and relatives in a unified database

Tajikistan's Interior Ministry announced plans to create a unified database that will include fortune tellers, sorcerers, prostitutes and their clients, as well as their close relatives. The registry is also planned to include drug addicts and religious figures without proper education. In the first half of 2026, 93 cases of fortune telling were identified in Dushanbe, and criminal cases were opened against five people.
