Russia's Health Ministry backs the idea of free cryopreservation of reproductive cells for cancer patients
Russia's Ministry of Health has expressed in-principle support for a proposal to freeze the reproductive cells of cancer patients free of charge before the start of aggressive treatment. TASS reports the ministry's response to a request from State Duma deputies from the New People faction, and Gazeta.Ru references the TASS report. For now, this amounts to in-principle support rather than an adopted decision.
