Expert suggests accidents may rise after couriers are banned from riding on sidewalks
The Ministry of Transport has proposed banning couriers on electric vehicles from riding on sidewalks and in pedestrian zones. Automotive expert Andrei Lomanov warned that the measure will protect pedestrians, but at first it may lead to an increase in accidents due to the difference in speeds and couriers' poor knowledge of the Traffic Rules.
