Secret warehouses with medicines worth 5.2 billion soums discovered in Namangan
Officers of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan for Namangan region, together with customs and internal affairs bodies, uncovered secret warehouses in five apartments in Namangan. Three local residents stored there 46,865 units of medicines of 287 names, illegally imported from abroad, for subsequent sale. The preliminary value of the seized goods is 5.2 billion soums. Forensic-chemical and commodity examinations have been appointed, and a pre-investigation check is underway.
