Three men detained in Samarkand attempting to sell 7,400 counterfeit dollars for 44 million soums
Officers of the State Security Service, customs and internal affairs bodies of Uzbekistan detained in Samarkand three residents of the Taylak district who were trying to sell counterfeit 100-dollar banknotes totaling 7,400 dollars for 44 million soums. According to law enforcement agencies, the fake banknotes were brought from Turkey. Two of the detainees had previously been convicted.
