Doctors report first COPD symptoms in young vapers; sales ban not being observed in North Ossetia
According to Life.ru citing SHOT, doctors are being approached en masse by e-cigarette users aged 16–40 with symptoms resembling early signs of COPD — an incurable lung disease. Pulmonologist Alexey Nikishenkov reported a 30% increase in complications over the year. Meanwhile, in North Ossetia, where a ban on vape sales has been in effect since September 1, 2026, e-cigarettes continue to be sold.
