Sudan closes Ethiopia's consulate in Gedaref and gives diplomats 48 hours to leave
Khartum has ordered the closure of Ethiopia's consulate in the eastern city of Gedaref and demanded that the diplomats leave the country within 48 hours. According to Sudanese media, the decision was a reciprocal response to the closure of the Sudanese consulate in Asosa and the expulsion of six Sudanese diplomats.
