Citizen of Uzbekistan with child returned home after release from temporary detention center in Russia
A resident of Uzbekistan, placed in a temporary detention center for violating Russia's migration legislation, was released and returned to her homeland together with her child. Her son had been in an orphanage in Novosibirsk. Staff of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held negotiations, issued the woman a certificate for return, and handed the child over to her at Tolmachevo airport. Over the past week, the consulate helped five children return home.
