A number of appointments made in the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan

On October 15–16, 2026, personnel changes were announced in the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan: Akramjon Fazilov was appointed first deputy to the presidential adviser on representative bodies, NGOs and youth, Aziza Kurbonova became first deputy head of the Communications Department, and Khushnud Khudoyberdiyev became his deputy. Farrukh Omonov was relieved of his post due to a transfer to another job.

Aziza Kurbanova and Khushnud Khudayberdiev appointed deputies at the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration

On October 15, presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov announced a series of personnel appointments at the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan. Aziza Kurbanova became first deputy head of the Communications Department, and Khushnud Khudayberdiev became deputy head. Previously they worked at the Media Content Preparation Center and the National Information Agency UzA respectively. Akramjon Fozilov was transferred to the post of first deputy to the president's adviser, and Farrukh Omonov was relieved of his post as deputy head of the department.
