BASF raises annual profit forecast after price increases amid the war with Iran
The German chemical group BASF raised its 2026 underlying profit forecast to €7.4–7.8 billion after raising prices by up to 30% in March amid the war against Iran. Third-quarter profit rose 15% to €1.6 billion, and sales grew 14% to €16.4 billion.
