CCTV did not air Real Madrid's match against Racing after Mbappé's remarks about Mao
China's state television channel CCTV did not broadcast the Real Madrid — Racing Santander match, despite apologies from Kylian Mbappé, the club and La Liga. China Media Group acknowledged the apologies but did not say how long the suspension of broadcasts would last; several Chinese brands have terminated their contracts with the footballer.
