Murashko named cardiovascular diseases the leading cause of death among Russians
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko stated that heart and vascular diseases hold the leading place in the mortality structure. He stressed the need for a comprehensive approach: in addition to emergency care for heart attacks and strokes, attention is also required for patients with other vascular pathologies.
