EU and UK prepare to link their carbon markets
According to a draft document reviewed by Euronews, the EU–UK summit in Brussels on 20 November will announce the completion of negotiations on linking their emissions trading systems. Mutual recognition of allowances will exempt goods from border carbon charges, but critics warn of rising carbon prices for British industry.
