Tesla and Turo launch a joint project to promote Full Self-Driving (Supervised)
Car rental service Turo will begin labeling Teslas equipped with Full Self-Driving (Supervised) on its platform, and owners will receive a free one-month FSD trial. Tesla verifies FSD availability through its API. This follows growth in the number of paying FSD subscribers: about 1.7 million customers worldwide, with more than 75% of buyers in North America subscribing in the third quarter.
