Japan brings first-ever charges for smuggling cars with engines over 1.9 liters
Japanese law enforcement has uncovered a scheme for illegally shipping 73 used cars worth about 229 million yen to Russia. The suspect in the case is Kim Jun-ho, a South Korean citizen residing in Osaka. The case marks the first precedent in Japanese judicial practice involving cars with engines over 1.9 liters.
