A rare double waterspout forms over the water off the coast of Capri
On November 8, 2026, two waterspouts formed at once off the Italian island of Capri, stretching across the famous Faraglioni rocks. The phenomenon was captured on video; according to euronews, waterspouts over the Mediterranean Sea in late summer and autumn are a common occurrence, but a double column is a rarity.
