CAF reverses move of Africa Cup of Nations to a four-year cycle
The Confederation of African Football has unanimously returned the tournament to its previous frequency — once every two years. The decision was reconsidered after criticism and an analysis of plans to create a new African National League, which, according to CAF's assessment, would not have been able to achieve financial self-sufficiency for years.
