Armed patrols hit the streets of Sydney after the Bondi Beach attack
Specially trained police officers carrying long-barrelled weapons have begun patrolling Sydney's tourist areas under the new Armed Response Command operation. The measure is part of enhanced security arrangements following the December attack at Bondi Beach, in which 15 people were killed.
