China's first fully AI-generated film hits cinemas, but box office turns out low
The Chinese sci-fi film 'Sanxingdui: The Past of the Future' became the first fully AI-created feature film to receive a theatrical release permit. More than 10,000 screenings failed to save the picture: pre-sales amounted to only 80,000 yuan against a budget of over 10 million.
