Paris department store BHV Marais files for protection from bankruptcy
The legendary Paris department store BHV Marais, made famous by the scandal surrounding the opening of a Shein store, has initiated a bankruptcy protection procedure. The company insists this is part of a business restart rather than a collapse: the store opposite Paris City Hall will continue operating, retaining 700 jobs.
