Israeli Minister Smotrich Threatened Egypt with the Loss of Sinai and Proposed Annexing Southern Lebanon
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said he does not trust Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi's assurances that Egypt has no intention of attacking Israel, and warned that in the event of an attack Egypt could lose Sinai. He also called for annexing territories occupied by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon and taking control of Gaza, facilitating the departure of Palestinians.
