Kazakhstan hosted the first Open Asian Cup of Falconry
The first Open Asian Cup of Falconry took place at the fifth international Shygys Salburyny festival. Hunters from ten countries participated, with about 15,000 spectators. The winners were Serikbolsyn Zhalgasuly (golden eagles), Zaki Makhmudkhan (hawks) and Temirali Tolegenuly (saker falcons).
