Defending champions Kipruto and Obiri to chase repeat titles at the New York City Marathon
At Sunday's New York City Marathon, which is expected to draw around 60,000 runners from 140 countries, defending champions Benson Kipruto and Hellen Obiri of Kenya will attempt to defend their titles. Kipruto could become the first man to win the race twice in a row since 2013, while Obiri would become only the fourth woman with three victories in the event's history.
