Competition Committee approved VEON group's purchase of Perfectum with a number of conditions
Uzbekistan's Committee for the Development of Competition issued preliminary consent for VEON UZB Holding Ltd to acquire 100% of Rubicon Wireless Communication shares (the Perfectum brand). The deal was announced on October 19 at approximately $207 million, including about $93 million of debt. Conditions include maintaining Perfectum's independence for at least 3 years, freezing 5G FWA tariffs for 12 months, and protecting subscriber data.
