Turkey and Iraq confirm agreements on Sinjar and the transfer of the Bashika base
According to a joint statement published by Turkey's Directorate of Communications, Ankara will begin the phased transfer of the Bashika-Zilkan base to the Iraqi federal government, and the parties will activate the Joint Committee on Security Coordination to oversee the process in Sinjar.
