Former Evin prisoner Anoosheh Ashoori urges UK government to secure release of the Forman couple
British-Iranian Anoosheh Ashoori, released from Evin prison in 2022, held a protest outside the UK Parliament in support of Lindsay and Craig Foreman, arrested in Iran in January 2025 and sentenced to 10 years for espionage. The family submitted a petition with 110,000 signatures demanding the detention be recognised as arbitrary, and is preparing for a meeting with Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.
