Applied Materials to double its stake in the Dutch company Besi: shares jump more than 10%
Applied Materials announced its intention to increase its stake in chip packaging equipment maker Besi from 9% to about 20%. Besi shares rose more than 10%, exceeding 160 euros. The deal is subject to review under US antitrust law.
