Applebee's closes customer data leak: database password was stored right in the app
A researcher from the UK found a hardcoded password for an internal customer database in Applebee's Android app. TechCrunch confirmed the finding and waited for the vulnerability to be fixed before publishing. The company claims it has found no traces of unauthorized access so far, but did not answer whether it has logs.
