South Korea's regulator imposed a combined fine of 63.7 billion won on the companies for restricting app developers' choice of payment methods. Google and Apple must submit compliance plans within a month and make changes within three months; both companies disagreed with the decision.
Madina UsmonovaAccording to Sensor Tower, the Meta Muse app reached 10.9 million downloads since its launch in September, of which 10.2 million were in the US. Only 11 other apps had previously achieved this result. Muse holds the top spot in the App Store and shows user retention higher than ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok.

The company said it will remove such apps and strengthened rules against human trafficking and child exploitation.
